Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rotation detection apparatus which prevents a drop in the output of a galvanomagnetic conversion element by setting the interval between a magnetism sensing face on the galvanomagnetic conversion element and a magnetization medium installed on the circumferential face of a rotating body at a desired interval and making the perpendicularity of the magnetism sensing face with reference to a circuit board good even if the sheet thickness and the face relative roughness of the galvanomagnetic conversion element disperse. SOLUTION: A holder 14 is provided with a claw part 14b which comes into contact with the side 16 of a magnetism sensing face 13 on a galvanomagnetic conversion element 13 and with a pressure member 20 which comes into contact with the rear of the galvanomagnetic conversion element 13. The pressure member 20 presses the galvanomagnetic conversion element 13 to the side of the claw part 14b, and it brings the galvanomagnetic conversion element into contact with the claw part 14b so as to be positioned. The pressure member 20 may be an elastic body, an elastic piece which is molded integrally with the holder 14 or a spring material which is arranged and installed on the rear side of the magnetism sensing face.
