Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of fluorocarbon to the outside of a device by storing crushed waste urethane in a hopper compressing the waste urethane between a main piston and a follower piston in a cylinder on the lower section of the hopper, and them moving both pistons in parallel and guiding the waste urethane to an expanding space. CONSTITUTION:Waste urethane stored in a hopper 1 is fed into a crusher 3 by a screw 2 and crushed into fine pieces therein, and the majority of fluorocarbon generated from urethane is filled in a space 4 and recovered through an exhaust tube 5. The waste urethane in which a small mount of flurocarbon is dropped into an intermediate hopper 6 and filled in a cylinder 7 on the lower section. A main piston 8 is actuated in the above-said state to compress the waste urethane, and residual flurocarbon is pushed out into the hopper 6. Main and follower pistons 8 and 9 are moved to an expanding space 12, and then the follower piston 9 only is further moved to drop the waste urethane into the expanding space 12 and recovered therein. Therefore, the recovery of flurocarbon contained in the waste urethane to the outside of a device is prevented.
