Abstract:
The present invention is a display unit structure in a housing for an electronic apparatus in which a plurality of light-transmitting holes which transmit light from a light-emitting body within the housing to outside the housing comprising metal plates are disposed so that a high degree of waterproof quality is acquired without interfering with the transmission of light. To this end, the present invention is a display unit structure in which a plurality of light-transmitting holes (6) which transmit light from the light-emitting body (8) to outside the housing are disposed in order to display various types of information upon the exterior of the housing, wherein the light-transmitting holes (6) are formed from: a first hole portion (6a) drilled upon the surface of a metal plate which is to be an inner surface side of the housing; and a multitude of second hole portions(6b) which are in communication with the first hole portion (6a) upon the surface of the metal plate which is to be the exterior surface side of the housing, are drilled with a fine hole diameter within the aperture of the first hole portion (6a), and are sealed with filler material (9) having permeability with respect to light.
