Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source capable of performing successive excitation switching including a plurality of synchronization and non-synchronization with one wavelength variable laser, by providing a wavelength-variable laser outputting a laser light synchronizing with the wavelength of seeding laser output switched by a change-over means. SOLUTION: The oscillated light of a synchronizing seeding laser 10 synchronized with the absorption line of a specified molecule by a synchronizing means 100 and the oscillated light of a non-synchronizing seeding laser 20 oscillated at a wavelength other than the absorption wavelength of the specified molecule are outputted. When these are switched by switching means 110 and injection- seeded to a wavelength variable laser 90, the wavelength variable laser 90 is excited at this wavelength, and the oscillated light synchronized or non- synchronized with the absorption line of the specified molecule can be thus provided. Since the switching of oscillating wavelength of the laser outputted to the atmosphere is performed on its control input side, small-sized high speed switching means 110 can be used. Since one wavelength variable laser is excited by one exciting light source 120, reduction in laser output by divided excitation is eliminated.
