Abstract:
PURPOSE:To save time of a user for postediting and improve the quality of a translated sentence by blinking and displaying words and phrases sourcing a dictionary that the user specifies and editing the translated sentence while referring to them when the translated sentence is edited after being translated by the machine translation system. CONSTITUTION:While an input sentence and an output sentence are displayed at a display part (S61) after a translating process, a menu showing the kind of selected dictionary data is displayed (S63) at the display part with a used dictionary menu key according to a flag which is stored in a dictionary control part and indicates whether or not a technical dictionary and a user dictionary are used, and which dictionary's use state is checked is selected and specified (S64-S67). Then when the user dictionary is selected (S68, YES), a display control part checks a source flag stored in a translation part while made correspond to the output sentence and blinks and displays the words sourcing the user dictionary on the display part (S69).
