Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a mobile phone that automatically makes a proper reply in response to a caller at the arrival of an incoming call in a setting that no ring tone is generated even at the arrival of the incoming call in order to avoid inconvenience to other people into account. SOLUTION: The mobile phone is controlled by a CPU 1 and is provided with a reply method table section TM, a transmission message section SM and a reception message section RM all installed in a RAM 10. Some transmission messages are set in advance in the transmission message section SM, the reply method table section TM stores the telephone numbers of opposite parties whose calls are expected and a method that decides which transmission message stored in the transmission message section SM is to be sent in response to a call, and a message is transmitted on the basis of the information stored in this reply method table section TM. A message sent from a caller after that process is stored in the reception message section RM.
