a nematic liquid crystal cell having a twist angle of 180 to 270≰; a phase delay compensating film positioned on the upper portion of the nematic liquid crystal cell, for constantly increasing a double refraction phase difference from a lower side having a low phase difference to an upper side having a high phase difference; and a polarization film disposed on the lower portion of the liquid crystal cell and the upper portion of the phase delay compensating film, for transmitting light from the liquid crystal cell.
