Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make possible to automatically supervise states of satellites moved from other communication regions. SOLUTION: If power supplies of satellites 11 and 12 are switched on, the satellites 11 and 12 send address confirmation answer signals after address confirmation request signals from the parent offices 1 and 2 are received. If the current addresses included in the address confirmation answer signals do not agree to the addresses assigned previously, the current addresses are automatically changed to the values of the abnormal addresses. By this means, the moved satellites 11 and 12 send polling answer signals after the change, if the satellites receive polling signals from the parent offices. Therefore, the parent offices can automatically supervise the states of the satellites 11 and 12 moved from other communication regions 21 and 22 without manual intervention.
