Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and efficient carrying and storing container which is suitable for proper treatments on the long or middle period storage, transportation or carrying and storage of perishables, and to provide a method for the long or middle period storage of the perishables. SOLUTION: This container 1 for carrying and storing perishables has a carrying and storing container 2 comprising a reduced pressure-resistant box equipped with an opening or closing device 3, and a piping and a cock 4 which are disposed at a portion of the carrying and storing container 2 and enable the communication of the inside with the outside so that the inner atmosphere of the carrying and storing container 2 can be refreshed and so that a gas for treating the perishables is introduced and exposed to the perishables 3. A solid adsorbent for adsorbing volatile substances and a device 5 for storing a saturated salt solution for controlling the relative humidity are preferably further disposed.
