Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk player in which further power saving is achieved compared to a conventional player. SOLUTION: The disk player 1 temporarily stores a signal read from a disk 12 into a memory 9, and switches the actuation/unactuation of a pick up driving means A according to the storage amount of signals. The frequency of a main clock for a microcomputer is reduced to save the power consumption of the disk player 1 when both of the pick up driving means A and a display device are in unactuation.
