Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for molding component having engaging part such as double helical gear or the like with a resin material. SOLUTION: The method for molding an article having a toothed part on the surface comprises the steps of forming a cavity for molding the article from a fixed side mold member for transferring a molding body, a movable side mold member and a pair of rotatable dowel members for transferring the toothed part, injecting and cooling a resin material in the cavity, separating the molding from the fixed side mold member by rotating the dowel members in association with opening of the movable side mold member, and then releasing the molding from the movable side member by rotating the dowel members, thereby molding the article. Thus, the double helical gear of the molding can be separated from the mold by rotating the dowels when released.
