Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the mounting structure of an injector suitable for a direct in-cylinder injection type spark ignition engine. SOLUTION: In a direct in-cylinder injection type spark ignition engine, the central line F of an injector is arranged below the passage wall surface of each suction port, an injector is arranged in a state to be nipped between intake air ports 21, and the fuel injection direction of the injector is set to approximately the same direction as the direction of a flow of intake air in the intake air port 21. The shape of fuel spray injected through the injector is formed in a conical shape concentric to the central line F of the injector.
