Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP4048270
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
To provide a superconducting material exhibiting not only an excellent transition point of superconduction but also excellent critical current characteristics in upper critical field or high field and capable of sustaining that characteristics, and its producing method.
The MgB2superconducting film-like material (1) is produced by forming an Mg excess Mg-B amorphous precursor film on the surface of a basic material of metal provided or not provided with a film of a material exhibiting low reactivity to Mg-B, heating the precursor film quickly in an oxygen-free inert gas, sustaining the heating for a short time, and crystallizing microcrystal of nano size MgB2from the Mg-B amorphous precursor through quenching.
