To provide a roller bearing which can suitably roll rollers and is not susceptible to breakage of retainer segments.
A roller bearing comprises: an outer ring; an inner ring; a plurality of rollers disposed between the outer ring and the inner ring; a plurality of column parts 14a, 14b extended in a direction along an axis so as to form pockets 13a retaining the rollers; connecting parts 15a, 15b circumferentially extended to connect the plurality of column parts 14a, 14b. The roller bearing further comprises a plurality of retainer segments 11a sequentially and continuously disposed in a circumferential direction between the outer ring and the inner ring. A column part 14a is positioned at a circumferential end part of the retainer segment 11a. In the column part 14a positioned at the end part, an expanded part 23a expanded in a circumferential direction is disposed to the outside in the circumferential direction, and a recess part 23b recessed in the circumferential direction is disposed to the inside in the circumferential direction.
