To provide a stream data-related information supply device which successively retrieves information related to a content during reproduction of a stream, presents it in a form that does not become hindrance to a user, deletes duplicate on a plurality of pieces of related information that the user selects among presented information, and reproduces information without waste.
The stream data-related information supply device is provided with: a content information storage part storing content information where contents of the plurality of pieces of stream data are described; and a stream data transmission part transmitting stream data to a destination which is previously decided. The device is also provided with: a retrieval data producing part producing retrieval data on the basis of content information on transmitted stream data; a related information retrieval part retrieving related information on transmitted stream data on the basis of retrieval data produced by the retrieval data producing part, and a related information supply part supplying every retrieved related information or every plurality of pieces of information.
