Abstract:
To provide an optical fiber made of plastic in which heat resistance, moisture resistance and chemical resistance are large and transmission loss is small and which does not have a clad layer.
The plastic optical fiber is extended after molding of molten material composed of chrystalline perfluoro resin, and does not have the clad layer, and can be applied to a sensor for detecting deposition of various kinds of liquid to a surface.
