To provide a cooling device of a pin type kneading continuous extruder for circulating cooling water through at least one of a screw shaft, screw blades and a plurarity of pins protruded into a cylinder to improve a cooling effect.
The cooling device in the cylinder 5 is constituted so that inner and outer circulating water channels 20a and 20b for cooling water W are formed to the center part in the longitudinal direction of the screw shaft 7 and the outer periphery of the center part and connected to the leading end of the screw shaft 7. An outer peripheral water channel 21b is connected to the cooling water passages 22 formed in the screw blades 6 approaching the pins 19 and circulating partition members 23 are provided in the cooling water passages 22. A plurality of the pins 19 arranged in the intermittent parts 18 of the screw blades 6 or a plurality of the pins 19 arranged in the groove parts 26 of the flow adjusting parts 25 of the screw shaft 7 have a double pipe structure and the cooling water W injected in the inner pipe 27 of the double pipe structure of each pin is circulated to the outer pipe 28 of the double pipe structure to cool the screw shaft 7.
