Abstract:
To achieve hardware configuration and a method for handling of data for compensating for the limited number of eliminations which is a disadvantage of a flash memory for materializing an auxiliary storage device by using the flash memory.
The inside of the flash memory 1 is divided into sectors which are writing and elimination units of file data, the files written in each sector are numbered, tables 5, 6 are provided for managing the files and writes the files in other sector as a new piece of data even in rewriting the already written file. Then, old data are eliminated and managed on the tables 5, 6 as newly writable area.
