Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an oil filter from making touch with a bounced stone and an obstacle on a road, to increase the supporting rigidity of an oil filter adapter, and to reduce the vibration of the oil filter. SOLUTION: In the oil filter protector of an engine, which provides the oil filter adapter having a main body, a connector, and an adapter side oil filter setting part, and arranges a protection member at the underneath of the oil filter set to the adapter side oil filter setting part, the oil filter is set to the adapter side oil filter setting part at an end side of the longitudinal direction, the protection member provides a frame member of almost a U-shape, which extends from the underneath of the other end side of the longitudinal direction to an end side of the longitudinal direction along the outer periphery at the underneath of the both sides of the longitudinal direction, an end part of the frame member of almost the U-shape is set to the adapter side oil filter setting part, and the other end is set to the engine.
