Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the current passage in the electrical connection method of welding the two types of protrusions of the connecting member, which is disposed between the two electrodes, on the positive electrode and the negative electrode of adjoining unit cells of a battery pack. SOLUTION: The connection method comprises a welding process of resistance welding of one side of protrusion, out of two types of protrusions 47, 48 of the connecting member 4, on the opening part 3 of one side of unit cell 1, and a resistance welding process in which the connecting member 4 is covered by the bottom face 22 of the other unit cell la and the other protrusion 48 is resistance welded on the bottom face 22 of the outer packaging can 2 of the unit cell la.
