Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ticket reader capable of uniformly keeping the interval of a read surface and a transfer belt without bias and preventing the read defect of an order-in-line ticket. SOLUTION: This ticket reader is provided with an image read element 49 for reading the information of the order-in-line ticket T, a transfer means M for transferring the ticket T along the read surface 49a of the element 49, a moving mechanism K for moving the element 49 so as to be attached to/ detached from the transfer surface 33a of the transfer means M and attaching and detaching the transfer surface 33a and the read surface 49a and a bias prevention means N for preventing the bias of the interval of the read surface 49a and the transfer surface 33a. The bias of the interval S of the read surface 49a and the transfer surface 33a by abutting the image read element 49 to the transfer surface 33a on one side is prevented by the bias prevention means N. Thus, the interval S of the read surface 49a and the transfer surface 33a is uniformly kept without the bias. Thus, the read defect of the ticket T is prevented.
