Abstract:
To obtain a heat-resistant fabric exhibiting lightweight, softness and excellent heat-resistant properties, to provide a method for producing the same and to obtain heat-resistant protective clothing produced by using the heat-resistant fabric.
The fabric is obtained by using spiral yarns formed of two or more heat-resistant fiber yarns circling helically in the yarn axis direction and in different directions. The number of revolutions of the spiral yarns is ≥800 times/m and a void part is formed in the core part of the spiral yarns.
