Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equalize the screen size of an image pickup element and the image formation size of a subject image to each other as to a still image and a television image similarly by arranging a reflecting mirror in the lens-to-lens space of the television lens, guiding luminous flux deflected by the reflecting mirror to an electronic still camera, and arranging a converter lens of specific power behind the reflecting mirror of a still image pickup system. SOLUTION: When the size of image pickup elements 12, 13, and 14 of a television image pickup system is (2/3)" and the size of the image pickup element 35 of the electronic still camera 33 which is fitted is also (2/3)" and they are equal to each other, the field angles of both the systems can be equalized to each other by arranging such a converter lens 32 that the Mc .fB obtained by multiplying the focal length fB of the photographic lens 33a of the electronic still camera 33 and the converter power Mc of the converter lens 32 becomes equal to the focal length fA of a 5th group.
