Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a washing means of coins or the like which is small-sized and requires a small consumed amount of a washing liquid and shortens a processing time. SOLUTION: A washing device 1 is provided with an arranging mechanism 3, which arranges coins C one by one so that they don't overlap, and a washing and drying mechanism 4 which washes and dries front and rear faces of the coins C. In this case, the washing and drying mechanism 4 has such a constitution that a pair of suction rolls 30 and 31 in the wet state that an elastic member having water-absorptivity is arranged on the peripheral surfaces are arranged so that their peripheral surfaces press each other. Coins C arranged by the arranging mechanism 3 are made enter between this pair of suction rolls 30 and 31.
