Abstract:
To provide an air conditioner for efficiently discharging drain while making noise generated by the operation of a drain pump, unnoticeable.
This air conditioner is provided with a blower, a heat exchanger, a drain pan for receiving the drain formed in the heat exchanger, and the drain pump for discharging the drain accumulated in the drain pan. The air conditioner is further provided with a microcomputer 53 for controlling to operate the drain pump with high output when determining the formed quantity of drain to be large and to operate the drain pump with low output when determining the formed quantity of drain to be small.
