Abstract:
A catalyst support comprises agglomerated particles with particle diameter of = 20 mu m; and a composite oxide or solid solution composed of alumina, zirconium dioxide and titanium dioxide dispersed in the agglomerated particles as fine particles having particle diameter of = 50 nm. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a process for producing the catalyst support; and (2) a catalyst comprising the catalyst support, a noble metal loaded on the catalyst support, and a nitric oxide (NOx) storage member loaded on the catalyst support.
