Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new kind of microorganisms exhibiting high fatty oil- decomposing ability suitable to waste oil treatment, and to provide a method for cleaning oil-containing waste liquid and oil-contaminated soil. SOLUTION: This new kind of microorganisms belongs to the genus Pseudomonas, having high fatty oil-decomposing ability. The microorganisms are viable at 15-55 deg.C, having the ability to degrade animal oils, vegetable oils and free fatty acids. The highly functional fatty oil-decomposing bacteria are to be used for the above-mentioned cleaning method.
