Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly reliable thermoelectric conversion module which can deal with direct solder mounting. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric conversion module comprises a plurality of thermoelectric elements 1, 1 connected electrically in series by connecting the terminals of adjacent thermoelectric elements through a conductive substance. The thermoelectric elements 1, 1 are bonded each other by filling the space between the thermoelectric elements with insulating resin 2 and an insulation layer 3 having outer surface coated with a metal 6 is provided on the end part side of the thermoelectric element applied with the conductive substance. Since the outer surface is coated with a metal 6, the thermoelectric conversion module can deal with direct solder mounting. Since the thermoelectric element 1 made of a fragile material is reinforced with the insulating resin 2, crack due to thermal stress can be prevented.
