Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow to fully open a battery hood, by preventing the interference between the battery hood and the overhead guard of an electric type forklift. SOLUTION: A main battery hood 6 is connected by a connection shaft 12 provided at the position lower than the upper face position of a counterweight 10, in order to prevent its interferance to the ceiling part 9b of an overhead guard, when a battery hood is opened. An assintant battery hood 7 is provided to block the clearance between the rear edge of the main battery hood 6 and the counterweight 10, and the front part of the assistant battery hood 7 is connected elastically to the rear part lower face of the main battery hood 6, by a twisted coil spring 19. When the main battery hood 6 is pulled up by holding a handle 16, the assitant battery hood 7 is also opened connectingly, so as to fully open the battery hood in a single operation.
