To provide a wireless communication system and a wireless communication method capable of eliminating troublesome operations when moving picture transfer.

A mobile phone terminal captures data sent form a digital camera (step C5) and discriminates whether or not the captured data are JPEG data (step C6). When the captured data are the JPEG data, the mobile phone terminal discriminates whether or not the captured data are a plurality of the JPEG data (step C7). In the case of a plurality of the JPEG data, the mobile phone terminal discriminates whether or not an automatic production mode is set (step C8), when the automatic production mode is set, the mobile phone terminal automatically produces (MPEG compression processing) moving picture files in the transmission order of the JPEG data, gives a file name to the produced moving picture file and stores the resulting moving picture file to a moving picture file storage area (step C9).
