PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To search for the best solution for a programming problem which determines order in a short time even when handled elements are many by repeatedly performing sequence determination as to some section of the whole section of a permutation of objects to be scheduled while varying the size of the object section. SOLUTION: Sequence determination with very low precision is performed (a) for the whole section from the start to the end of the operation. Then sequence determination with higher precision than the starting stage is performed (b) for the partial section (shown by two-pointing arrows) from the starting part to about 3/4 of the whole which has been scheduled with the low precision. Sequence determination with the same precision with the previous stage is performed (c) for another partial section (shown by two-pointing arrows) that the section employed in the last stage by using the scheduling result is made to overlap with. Partial sections which are handled are made smaller to about 1/2 (d) and about 1/3 (e) of the whole and partial sections are moved similarly to previous stages to perform sequence determination.
