To provide a foamed article improving sealing of a base material and a lid member assembled on an opening part of the base material, capable of preventing leakage of a foam body foamed on a surface of the base material and the lid member from a peripheral edge of the opening part and favorable in appearance.

This foamed article is constituted of the the synthetic resin made base material 11 on which the opening part 12 is formed, the synthetic resin made lid member 21 arranged on the surface side of the base material 11 and covering the opening part 12, and the foam body 31 foamed on the surface side of the base material 11 and the cover member 21 and laminated on the base material 11 and the cover member 21, the cover member 21 is furnished with a main body part 22 to cover the opening part 12 on the surface side of the base material 11 and a lip 26 projected and formed from an overall periphery of an outer peripheral edge of the main body part 22 and making contact with a surface of the outer peripheral edge 13 of the opening part 12 of the base material 11, and a groove 27 is formed along the overall periphery of the outer peripheral edge of the main body part 22 on a surface on the base material side on a base part 26a of the lip.
