To permit the manufacture of a small-size thermoelectric transformation module easily with a good yield.
The thermoelectric conversion element 5 is formed by a method wherein respective staggered lattice solder platings 4 are formed at the same positions of front and rear sides of a sheet member 1 for forming p-type and n-type thermoelectric conversion elements to form an already plated member 10 for forming element, then, the cuttings are formed along the boundary lines of solder platings 4 in a state where a preliminary fixing member 12 is connected to the rear side of the member 10 to form the thermoelectric conversion element 5. Only the thermoelectric conversion element 5 with the solder plating 4 formed on the front surface side thereof is fixed onto the substrates 6, 7 through soldering. Thereafter, the thermoelectric conversion element 5 without the solder platings 4 is separated from the substrates 6, 7, and the p-type and n-type thermoelectric conversion elements are arrayed through an interval in the surface direction of respective substrates 6, 7 to fit and arrange the p-type and n-type thermoelectric conversion elements 5a, 5b alternately, while opposing the substrates 6, 7 to each other.
