Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a rubber composition which has excellent processability, excellent rolling resistance characteristics, excellent wet skid performance and excellent frictional resistance. SOLUTION: This method for producing a rubber composition comprises formulating and kneading 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component obtained by a solution polymerization method, 5 to 100 pts.wt. of silica, a silane coupling agent in an amount of 2 to 20 wt.% based on the weight of silica, and water or an acidic aqueous solution in an amount of 2 to 20 wt.% based on the weight of the silica.
