Abstract:

To provide a fuel injection control device for an direct-injection engine, suppressing the starting delay of the engine while preventing the impossible start of the engine resulting from the wetting of an ignition plug.

In the fuel injection control device for the direct-injection engine having an intake and exhaust valves, the ignition plug and a fuel injection valve provided in a combustion chamber where fuel is injected from the fuel injection valve to the vicinity of the back of the intake valve when opened, at cold start, the fuel is injected in a lump during injection at start including initial injection, and when that the engine cannot be in a start possible condition with the injection is detected, the fuel is injected in fractional amounts before and after the lift amount of the intake valve is a preset value or more.
