Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common rail type fuel injection device capable of suppressing the increase of black smoke concentration in the exhaust gas of a diesel engine caused by the follow-up delay of a common rail pressure relative to a command injection pressure, when the command injection pressure fluctuates. SOLUTION: During a transient time when the opening of an accelerator: ACCP and the rotational speed NE of an engine fluctuate, in other words, when the actual common rail pressure PC delays in following-up relative to the command injection pressure PFIN to command the discharge of a high pressure supply pump, a command injection quantity QFIN to command a valve opening period (energizing period) of not more than a guard injection quantity Qguard computed by a two dimensional map 42 having NE as a control parameter is restricted. Thereby, a fuel quantity consumed from the common rail can be reduced, and the follow-up and the response of the actual common rail pressure PC relative to the command injection pressure PFIN can be enhanced.
