To provide a light emitting element, a light emitting device, and an electronic equipment wherein it is prevented that a light emitting layer itself is deteriorated and damaged by a light which the light emitting layer composed of an organic substance constituting the light emitting element, itself emits.
This light emitting element is characterized by being provided with a reflective electrode layer 5, a translucent electrode layer 2, a light-emitting layer 3 arranged between the reflective electrode layer 5 and the translucent electrode layer 2 and to emit the light by a carrier supplied via the reflective electrode layer 5 and the translucent electrode layer 2, and a light absorbing layer 4 arranged between the reflective electrode layer 5 and the light-emitting layer 3, and to absorb the light emitted by the light-emitting layer 3.
