To provide an award point management method for avoiding the concentration of specified processing generated by accompanying with the use of cards during a fixed period of time; and to provide a card system for implementing the method and an award point management apparatus used for the system.

The award point management method manages available award points on the use of the cards by card members in the card system configured to implement the generated processing when the specified processing is generated in using the cards by card members. The award point management method has: a step of storing a calculation rule for the award point provided to the use of the card when the card is used at a specified time zone; a step (S304) of specifying the card member used the card at the other time zone different from the specified time zone in the past based on a database storing the implementation history of the specified processing: and a step (S309) informing the specified card member of the application of the stored calculation rule when the card is used at the specified time zone in the future.
