Abstract:
To provide an optical recording medium having a thermal recording layer which enables recording by means of laser light common to the laser light for recording on and reproduction from an optical recording layer.
The optical recording medium 10 provided herein has the optical recording layer 12 on the main surface of a support base 11 and a label recording layer 14 is formed on the optical recording layer 12 with an intermediate layer 13 interlaid. In the label recording layer 14, a thermally coloring composition which colors with heat and a photo-thermal conversion material which absorbs light and generates heat are contained at least.
