In a cooling structure to cool a capacitor 1 stored in a capacitor container 3, whereto a prescribed number of unit cells 2 are connected, and a protective circuit 8 stored in a protective circuit container 13 provided in the vicinity of the capacitor container 3 to protect the capacitor 1, a coolant circulating means 12 to circulate coolant in a duct 7 provided in contact with the capacitor container 3 and the protective circuit container 13, and communicating passages 16, 17 whereof at least one end side is each opened to the duct 7 are independently provided in the capacitor container 3 and the protective circuit container 13, respectively, to cool the capacitor 1 and the protective circuit 8 by the coolant circulated in the communicating passages 16, 17.
