Abstract:
To provide a lubricant composition of a low-phosphorus and low-sulfur type, having excellent abrasion resistance, extreme-pressure characteristics and friction-reducing properties, and especially suitable for the lubricant of an internal combustion engine.
The lubricant composition contains (A) a phosphonic acid ester of formula (1), (B) a metal salt of a phosphorus compound of formulas (2) or (3), and (C) a hydrazide derivative of formula (4) in a lubricant base oil.
