Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module having superior cooking performance and capable of improving assembling workability. SOLUTION: In the battery module 100, ten battery sets 1 respectively formed by connecting four cylindrical electric cells in series, are arranged and accommodated in two rows inside a battery chamber 41 of a lower cover 37. Cooling air for cooling the battery sets 1 is introduced and discharged vertically to the arrangement direction of the set batteries 1. The cooling air is circulated uniformly to the battery sets 1, arranged in two rows by an inequilateral triangle-shaped straightening rib 33 mounted near an introducing side, and sent approximately in the horizontal direction. The discharging side of the cooling air is located on a diagonal position of the introducing side of the cooling air. The battery chamber 41 and a control chamber 46 are defined by a partition 61.
