Abstract:
To reinforce resistance to a frequency analysis without increasing the size of a database.
A character string addition processing part 3 adds a character string with a bias reflecting a frequency of appearance in environment with encrypted data used therein after a meaningless character string that is not used in retrieval, for example, a punctuation or the like, extracted by a character string extracting part 2. This scrambles frequencies without increasing a data size in comparison with a method for adding dummy data that does not exist in plaintext to scramble frequencies and reinforces resistance to an attack caused by a frequency analysis.
