Abstract:
The purpose of this invention is to provide a fastening structure for vehicle body cover that is capable of concealing the fastening member and fastening bearing surface in the vehicle body cover. A fastening member (53R) is used to mount a cover member (52), which constitutes a part of vehicle body cover, on the other cover member (51). The feature of the fastening structure for vehicle body cover is that there is an opening part (59R) formed in the cover member (52), and the inner side of the cover member (52) forms a fastening bearing surface (61R) for the fastening member (53R) to mount on. The axis (66) of the fastening bearing surface (61R) is so arranged that it is not parallel to the axis (63) of the opening part, i.e. the axis (66) and (63) are crossed with each other. When the axis (63) of the opening part is aligned with the sight line, the inner of the cover member (52) can be well observed. On the other hand, the fastening bearing surface (61R) is arranged at a position away from the axis (63) of the opening part so that the fastening bearing surface (61R) and the fastening member (53R) cannot be easily seen from the opening part (59R). Therefore, the structure can conceal the fastening member (53R) and the fastening bearing surface (61R); and thus the appearance of the vehicle body cover can be enhanced.
