To provide a data transmission device, its program and its method in which cost reduction and high availability are obtained by using an IP network when transmitting video picture data for use in broadcasting or the like and besides the certainty of real-time delivery can be secured by simplex communication and further to provide a data reception device, its program and its method.
The data transmission device 1 transmits encoded video picture data via a network by using simplex streaming and is equipped with a video picture data dividing means 5, a header creating means 7 and a UDP packet transmission means 9. The data reception device 3 receives transmitted packets and is equipped with a UDP packet reception means 11, a header detection means 13, a header analysis means 15, a packet discard means 17, a packet hold means 19 and a packet output means 21.
