Abstract:
Upon reception of an encrypted packet from the packet relay device of the preceding hop, a packet relay device decodes the packet and then searches an internal management number corresponding to a destination identification number given to the packet in a first table. Subsequently, the packet relay device searches routing information corresponding to the internal management number in a second table, sets a new destination identification number included in the routing information to an IP packet, encrypts the IP packet, and sends out the IP packet from an output port specified by the routing information to the packet relay device of the next hop.
