To realize display of an image having a resolution higher than a screen resolution of an accessory display of a portable information communication apparatus on an external display means of a large screen in a peripheral device connected to the portable information communication apparatus by adding an interface means between the apparatus and the peripheral device and adding some functions to a display data generating means originally provided to display an image on the accessory display.
The portable information communication apparatus includes a data processing means for outputting a digital display signal to a display control means for controlling pixels of the accessory display panel. This apparatus has a configuration in which the interface means for transmitting the external display signal to the peripheral device including an external display means on the basis of a digital display signal received from the data processing means is provided, and the data processing means and the interface means cooperate in realizing a function of transmitting a high-resolution external signal from the interface means.
