Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing device of existence of cable disconnection and a test method of existence of the cable disconnection capable of testing with high reliability on a neutron detector and a test of existence of the cable disconnection. SOLUTION: In this device for monitoring the output of a nuclear reactor by installing the neutron detector 31 in the reactor core 1 and measuring neutrons, characteristic deterioration or the like of the neutron detector 31 is inspected periodically, and the connection state of a connection line positioned in the nuclear reactor of the neutron detector 31 is confirmed. In the confirmation, γ rays are detected by the neutron detector 31, and the detection signal is amplified by a γ ray signal amplifier 7, and it is determined whether a plateau characteristic exists or a resistance characteristic exists from the signal by a cable connection determination circuit 8, to thereby determine existence of the disconnection.
