To provide a spacer capable of effectively covering an interval between a casing top board and a casing fixing part in the upper side of an island facility when fixing the casing to an island in a game machine using the resin casing.

This spacer for installing a game machine is provided with an upper-part abutment part 21 having an abutment face 21a abutting on the lower face of the casing fixing part 3 when fixing the casing, and a bottom-part abutment part provided on the other side of the abutment face of the upper-part abutment part 21 and abutting on the upper face of a rib 16; and the bottom-part abutment part is provided with one retaining face retaining the height from the abutment face of the upper-part abutment part to the upper face of the rib at a fixed height with the spacer mounted on the top board, and at least one or more other retaining faces 27 and 28 capable of retaining the height from the abutment face of the upper-part abutment part to the upper face of the rib at a position lower than the height retained by the said one retaining face.
