Abstract:
To suppress elongation of a fire hose during pressurization by mainly using filament yarns as warp yarns of a jacket, alleviate slippery characteristics caused by use of filament yarns as the warp yarns, and improve handling performance.
In this fire hose 1, a lining 3 made of soft rubber or synthetic resin is formed on the inner face of the jacket 2 formed by cylindrically weaving the warp yarns 5 and weft yarns 4. In each of a belly part and edge part of the jacket 2 in the flatly folded state, filament yarns 5a and span yarns 5b or bulked yarns are used as the warp yarns 5.
